INVENTION DISCLOSURES

Invention disclosures are realist concepts which may or may not have immediate interest to the company.
A patent may not materialize for a number of reasons, some of which are that the product is exposed to the public
before the legal filing date, the patent department does not choose to pursue the patent, or the concept or product
has low interest. The following is a partial list since disclosures tend to get lost.

June 1977 - Two Headed Bolt Splicing Connection for Switchgear. This concept is used on Bus Way
to facilitate a quick sure electrical connection. The same can be applied to switchgear
	            	with equal advantage.
Dec. 1978 - Fused Power Switching Device - A switch with unique design concepts using a “LORES”, low
resistance contact material, and revolutionary closing design.
April 1979 - A Movable Connector Capable of High Short Circuit Currents - A special connector designed
for H.V. Circuit Breaker Ground and Test Devices.
Feb. 1982 - Measurement of Gas Pressure - A Process of measuring SF6 Gas pressure in a closed vessel by
			using of ultrasonic sound.
July 1982 - Measurement of Gas Pressure - The measurement of gas pressure in a SF6 Circuit Breaker by embedding
a solid state transducer into the epoxy housing of the interrupter.
July 1983 - Circuit Breaker Fan Cooling Device - The use of directly coupled current transformers as the souse
of power to electric fan motors. The combination provides inherent automatic control.
July 1985 - Electrical Contact Tips and Contact Material - A special contact material matrix which has a varying
resistance depending upon the axis of current. The property would give the circuit breaker greater
performance by reducing contact blowoff forces.
Aug. 1985 - Power Transformer Transient Protection - This disclosure suggest a totally new arrester and methods of
connecting arresters to transformers for improved transformer protection against transient voltages
			due to power disturbances.
Dec. 1991 - Circuit Breaker Maintenance Monitor - This device monitors a circuit breakers arc interrupting performance
as well as a number of other electrical and mechanical performances. Using computer technology, the
performance of the breakers operation is communicated and analyzed for proper operation. When problems
are discovered, the analysis provides instructions to provide proper maintenance.
